What is Indoor Cycling?

Indoor cycling is a low impact, high energy group exercise class that is instructor led to music. The instructor will lead you through various hills and speed tracks while encouraging you to push yourself at your threshold. You control the resistance on the bike which is why our classes are perfect for any fitness level (just be sure to inform your instructor you are new so you can be properly set up on your bike). Basically this means: you + bike + instructor + music = sweaty and more accomplished you!

What should I wear to class?

Any workout attire is great so long as you are comfortable! However, since you will be sweating we recommend tight fitted, dry-fit or moisture wicking clothing for the most comfort. Padded bike shorts are always helpful for cycling classes while getting used to the seat and a heart rate monitor can really make a difference if you are taking several classes a week and looking for specific results.

What should I bring to class?

Proper attire, a sports bottle for water and a towel are recommended. If you forget, you can always purchase a towel or water bottle from us at the studio.

How do I sign up for classes?

You can stop in and speak with a team member, or call us at 813-907-8710 if this is your first class so you can find out what new rider specials are currently going on! (new rider specials are available in-store only). Current members can log on to our online scheduler to register for all classes by following the link below.

Can I share classes or packages with a friend or family member?

No, each person must set up their own online account and purchase their own rides and training sessions. Our packages cannot be shared. However, we do offer great family add-on offers for any family member living in the same household as our members and we offer referral rewards for all members as a thank you for bringing in your friends! Inquire for more information re: referral rewards and how to save on your membership!

Who can attend classes?

Anyone who is over the age of 14 is allowed to participate. If you are under 18 we require a liability waiver signed by a parent/guardian prior to attending a class. Our classes are built for all fitness levels with your safety in mind, however if you have any health or fitness issues you may want to consult your physician before attending a class. Keep in mind that our certified instructors are here to help you reach your PERSONAL goals at your own pace. Moderate indoor cycling is also recommended for women that are expecting. What kind of cycling shoes do I need?

Our Spinner NXT pedals are equipped with both a safety strap and clip ins to suite all riders. Regular athletic shoes are perfect for the safety strap option, or cycling cleats (SPD compatible) can be worn on the clip-in side. We recommend a stiff-soled shoe for riders that use the safety strap option.

Are there classes for different experience levels?

Our classes are built for all levels regardless of experience. We do like to invite all our new riders in for a consultation prior to their first class so we can get to know you better and make sure you can be set up properly on the bike. You are ultimately in charge of how difficult the ride is since you control the resistance! This is why we offer a safe and relaxing environment so that you can focus on YOUR ride and get the most out of it!

What is the cancellation policy?

If you signed up for a class online, you are required to attend or cancel. If you cannot make it, you must cancel within 4 hours of that cycling class (or 12 hours for semi-private and 1 on 1) start time or you will forfeit one of your pre-paid sessions. Simply login to your account, click on the class you are signed up for, and click cancel which will free up your seat and credit you back your session.
